 La Veguilla Tempranillo is a premium red wine made exclusively from 100% Tempranillo grapes. With a captivating aroma that could perfume a room, this wine offers a truly sensory experience. Its intense red color with depth is a testament to its richness and complexity. On the nose, it exudes elegance and character, with notes of wild black fruits and cream.

Palate: On the palate, this wine showcases fresh and fleshy fruit weight, providing a balanced and persistent mouthfeel.

Origin:

Village: La Veguilla is sourced from the proprietary vineyard located in San Vicente de la Sonsierra, La Rioja. Spanning across 16.5 hectares, this vineyard is known for its exceptional quality grapes.

Slope Face: The vineyard is situated on a slope face, offering optimal sun exposure and drainage for the vines.

Soil Type: The soils in La Veguilla vineyard are characterized by calcareous clay with an abundance of small rounded stones on the surface. This unique soil composition adds depth and complexity to the wine.

Vinification:

Harvest: The grapes used in La Veguilla Tempranillo are manually harvested from the vineyard. This ensures that only the finest and ripest grapes are selected for the winemaking process.

Fermentation: After manual destemming, the grapes undergo pre-fermentative cold maceration, extracting maximum flavor and aroma. Fermentation takes place in French oak barrels and vats, using indigenous yeast selected from the vineyard. The wine undergoes élevage for 24 months in new French oak Bordeaux barrels, adding depth and complexity to the final product.

Ageing Potential: La Veguilla Tempranillo has a remarkable aging potential, allowing it to develop further complexity and character over time.

Serving Temperature: To fully appreciate the flavors and aromas of this wine, it is best served at a temperature between 16-18 °C.
