This 100% Tempranillo wine from the Finca El Bosque vineyard offers plenty of fine-grained tannins, layers of ripe fruit, and excellent balance. With clear aromas of ripe black fruits, fine woods, patisserie spices, and dark chocolate, it is intense and full-bodied on the palate, rounded with a wide range of subtle sensations, and an opulent finish. Best served at 16-18 °C."

Origin:
Village: San Vicente de la Sonsierra
Soil Type: Soils of calcareous clay with an abundance of gravel and small rounded stones on the surface.
Vinification:
Harvest: Property vineyard, El Bosque, planted in 1973. High density plantings on trellis. Environmental integrated agriculture cultivation, applying a viticulture respectful with the environment, following the biorhythms of the plant. Organic fertilization every 2 years.
Fermentation: Destemmed by hand with a rigorous selection of every grape. Fermented in French oak barrels with autochthonous yeast selected from our own vineyards. Pissage and punch down twice a day during the first 8 days of fermentation and once a day during the last 5 days of fermentation. Malolactic fermentation in new French oak barrels (95%) and Central European oak barrels. 18 months in new French (95%) and Central-European (5%) Bordelaise oak barrels.
Ageing Potential: 10-12 years
Serving Temperature: 16-18 °C.
Food Pairing: This Tempranillo pairs well with grilled meats, hearty stews, and aged cheeses.
