Village: San Vicente Tempranillo Peludo originates from the picturesque village of San Vicente de la Sonsierra, nestled in the esteemed D.O.Ca. Rioja region. 

Slope Face: The vineyard is situated on a slope face, offering optimal sun exposure and drainage to the vines, resulting in grapes of exceptional quality.

Soil Type: In San Vicente de la Sonsierra, the vineyards boast calcareous clay soils, which contribute distinctive characteristics to the grapes.

Vinification:

Harvest: The grapes for San Vicente Tempranillo Peludo undergo careful manual harvesting, ensuring that only the finest grapes are selected for winemaking.

Fermentation: Indigenous yeast selected from the vineyards is used for fermentation, adding a unique touch to the wine. The process is carefully controlled, maintaining the integrity of the grapes.

Élevage: After fermentation, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation in barrels, enhancing its complexity. It is then aged for 20 months in a combination of new Bordelaise barrels made from French oak (90%) and American oak (10%). Throughout the aging process, the wine is racked every four months, allowing it to develop and evolve.

Ageing Potential: San Vicente Tempranillo Peludo has an impressive ageing potential, allowing it to further develop in complexity and character over time.

Serving Temperature: To fully appreciate the flavors and aromas of this wine, it is best served at a temperature between 16-18 °C.
